At one point, during the 1960’s whisky boom, Tomatin was one of the biggest distilleries in Scotland. That has changed, and now you don’t see as much Tomatin in this country (although it is quite a big brand in Asia). Tomatin Legacy is quite unusual, in that they use a percentage of new oak, which adds more of a vanilla, honey note to the whisky. A great value sipping whisky.
