Taylor Jr in 1869, however distilling on the site in Franklin County, Kentucky, dates back to 1787, and the distillery has also gone by the names of Old Fashioned Copper (O.F.C.) Distillery and George T. Stagg Distillery. Buffalo Trace Distillery has won more global awards than any other distillery and claims to be the oldest operating distillery in America to this day. Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a 45% ABV Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that is distilled by Buffalo Trace Distillery and aged for a minimum of 10 years.
