The Mulberry Tree is named for an ancient tree that grows on the banks of the River Bremer. This flows through the Bleasdale Vineyard on its way to Lake Alexandrina. The maritime influence of ‘The Lake’ is excellent for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing ripe fruit flavour to co exist with soft supple tannin. An elegant wine with aromas of mixed berries, dark chocolate and violets. The palate is smooth with blackcurrant and spicy oak flavours and finishes with fine chalky tannins.
