GlenAllachie® GlenAllachie 9 Year Old Amontillado Sherry Cask Finish | The Wood Collection – 8350288445659

This latest release comes from ‘The Wood Collection’ series from Billy Walker and his team at GlenAllachie distillery.  Aged for 9 years in total and given some extra time maturing in casks that previously held well-aged Amontillado Sherry.  Bottled at a generous 48% vol, natural colour and non-chill filtered. 

Amontillado Sherry starts its life as a Fino then undergoes an additional maturation period without a ‘flor’ layer and when at this stage of oxidative ageing it develops a richer colour and more robust characteristics.
