TarraWarra Estate Chardonnay is made from grapes grown in a very small part of the winey’s blocks, and as such is a microcosm representation of the terroir. It’s been naturally tank-fermented before being transferred to barrels for the last bit of fermentation and a few months of aging, spending about 10 months total on the lees to derive a texture and structure. Note grapefruit and lemon zest on the nose, with a tight palate of fruitiness underscored by mellow cashew notes. Pair this wine with rosemary and lemon seasoned chicken thighs.
